The Board and all the organizers of Vendsyssel Festival are now busy planning and arranging next years festival.
The festival in 2027 will take place from approx. 27th. of June until 15th. of August
Highlights from Vendsyssel Festival 2026
Largest festival for classical music in Scandinavia
Vendsyssel Festival is Scandinavia’s largest classical music festival, and located in Vendsyssel, North Jutland. The festival has taken place every summer since 1971.
During 6 weeks the festival will present approx. 50 concerts. The participating ensembles and soloists are internationally and nationally acclaimed musicians, who will perform music from the Renaissance, Baroque and up to completely new and contemporary music.
Vendsyssel Festival has a collaboration with the Danish cellist Andreas Brantelid, to arrange and program 2-3 of our concerts every year. Hereby Andreas has the opportunity to invite already well-known artists together with young and upcoming stars to the Festival. Also in 2027 this collaboration gives our audience a unique chance to experience new exciting talents in great musical experiences.
In 2027 the festival will last from approx. 27th. of June until 15th. of August.
The concerts at Vendsyssel Festival take place in the region’s beautiful churches, manor houses, art museums and concert halls.
